Grateful

Something I’m learning to be. We spend most of our days complaining about things that are going wrong, what about things that are going right for us. It is important to recognize the wonderful beings around us, their value, their support and compassion.  They are part of our life, they can be anyone. Family, friends, neighbours strangers, trees, humans or animals, any creation of Mother Nature!

These wonderful beings accept you the way you are, they bring out your good side, make you explore your dreams. Through unconditional compassion and love they create a positive domino effect, I’m lucky to have been touched by so many!

People who have become my family and closest friends! I always wanted to have people like the characters of FRIENDS around me. Different yet they share one thing in common, true friendship and compassion. All I needed to do was open my heart and there they were. I have decided to recognize goodness, to be grateful for it, to appreciate the efforts of others.

What am I grateful for today? My lovely neighbours! Fatima and Prabeer, one of the cutest and most wonderful couples I have met! Their bear hug makes me forget all my worries; their smile fills me with happiness. Their love is unconditional, pure and full of strength. Without saying much they say everything, they guide you; help you figure out solutions peacefully. They are smart, talented and creative to a fault! Both are wonderful cooks, their food is heavenly. They are humble and sweet, like an instant pick-me-up they bring sunshine in my life! Their words heal can your wounds and their company help you become a better person. Through them I have been able to spend time with other beautiful people like Pallavi, Mayank and Liki. A lovely bunch you would want to hold on to and cherish!

Today I’m grateful to have these people in my life. Fati and Papaji, tusi great ho! May all your dreams come true…Loads of love!

Grateful,
Mithu
